Raphaël lived in Chaumont-Gistoux, a town in the Brussels region of Belgium. He was born on the 25th of January, 1987 in Bruxelles (Ixelles). In his adult life, Raphaël underwent a septoplasty and turbinate reduction and subsequently developed Empty Nose Syndrome (ENS).
